When Onitsuka Tiger opened their internal showroom at ASICS South Africa to a private viewing by a hand-picked selection of the nation's top sneaker heads, we knew we had to create something exclusive to wow them. They value tradition, individuality and design so we created the ‘Laces not Stripes’ pack that tells the story of the brand’s heritage and evolution. Not only did these packs contain a specially-designed once-off booklet illustrated with the Onitsuka story, it also came with a pair ASICS laces, individually customised with each person's Instagram handle.

It was well received on the night and across social media gathering praise from the brand’s toughest critics - the evening’s attending sneaker heads.
