Dermo Smash is a mobile-optimised, browser-based game we developed for Hill’s Pet Nutrition, a global leader in pet food, to launch their new Prescription Diet Derm Defense range. The food aims to soothe itching and scratching in pets through nutrition.
The product is sold exclusively in veterinary practices where communication is usually overloaded with technical information and with little emotional appeal. The game delivers the product message in a straight-forward and fun way. We developed the game from deep insights into how our consumers interact online and which games they played on popular social media platforms.
The game was well received and nearly 8,000 people played a combined 20,000 minutes. The face-time with the brand and product resulted in bumper sales across veterinary clinics nationwide.
